Kehni behni rehni vich jo vakkho vakh ho jande ne; Dil vich vair virodh te nafrat upron pyar jatande ne. Jaanan haar prabhu hai jehrha jane sare gaiban nun; Is ton kiven luka sakda ey banda apne aiban nun. Dooje nun jo kare naseehat aap oh karda kamm nahin; Aap khudi ton bach nahin sakda chhadde khaihrha jamm nahin. Jehrhe man vich rehnda hardam antaryami eh nirankar; Us de suchche bolan naal hi tar sakda ey kul sansaar. Jo vi koi sant janan di matthe dhoorhi landa ey; Kahe avtar ohi nar jag te sagal padaarath panda ey. |

Those who differ in what they preach and what they do in practical life; Their hearts are full of animosity, hatred and jealousy, while outwardly they pretend to show love (for God). The omniscient God, knows all the hidden secrets; How can one conceal his misdeeds from Him? One who does not practice what he preaches to others; He just cannot get rid of ego, and the Angels of Death do not spare him. The one in whose mind always dwells this omniscient Formless God; The whole world can get salvation by acting on his noble words. Whosoever applies the dust of the feet of the True Saint on his forehead; Avtar says, such a person gets everything in this world. |
Meaning
Those who differ in what they speak and what they do in their lifestyle,
And their hearts are full of ill feeling, hatred and conflict while outwardly they pretend to show love (for God).
The omniscient God knows all the hidden secrets;
How can one conceal his misdeeds from Him?
The One who does not act upon what he advises others;
He just cannot get rid of ego, and the Angels of Death do not spare him.
The one in whose mind always lives in this omniscient, the Formless One-Nirankar;
Only by acting on his moral words, the whole world can be redeemed. Whosoever applies the dust of the holy feet of the True Saint on his forehead, such a person gets everything in this world.
